Finally! got my car. 1.5 Silver HB wohoo

Questions guys, when I start my mz3, the engine is so noisy then a couple of minutes it will tone down. I've read this somewhere here lol. BTW, the water indicator is showing also after starting then it will be gone in a while.

Cold Starts - 2012 Mazda 3 Long-Term Road Test

Turns out the exhaust manifold has thin walls and thus transmits more combustion noise than if it was some old-school cast iron chunkus. When cold, the ignition timing is retarded which puts more heat into the catalyst to aid light-off. This retarded timing also has stronger exhaust blowdown pulses, and that's what you're hearing.

Our brother, JohnM, hit the nail....here's what Mazda says:
The Mazda3 is equipped with SKYACTIV combustion technology.
This technology includes AWS (Accelerated Warm-up System) for
optimal emission performance during cold starting conditions.
-On start-up, the engine speed and sound are
higher (1500 RPM) for less than 1 minute to quickly bring the catalyst
to efficient operating temperature. The RPM will reduce to idle once the
temperature is achieved. This is normal engine operation under cold
start conditions.
-This heats up the catalytic converter faster to reduce
emissions and allows Mazda to use an exhaust header on the engine
(to improve efficiency and horsepower).
-You can drive the vehicle during AWS activation, no need to wait.

-That blue temp indicator turns off when it hits 55°C.

Now, check your plans vs those in page346 & get in that awesome FB group, Logan sir.....

Grocery run kami ni missis last Sunday. Sya nag-drive from house to grocery. Aba mukhang enjoy na enjoy. Galit pa sa mga mababagal na humaharang sa kalsada.

Ako naman nag-drive on our way home. She noticed na faster than usual ang approach speed ko sa isang corner so she braced herself for the hard turn. After the turn she looked in the side mirror dahil may narinig daw syang tire screeching akala nya may nag-panic brake sa likod. Sabi ko "tayo yun". Sabi nya "di ko pansin di naman ako tumilapon."
