Which Route To Take... Going Lucena

Normal Route:

SLEX, Sto Tomas, Alaminos San Pablo, Tiaong ...... Lucena

Alternate Route A:

SLEX, STAR, Lipa, Tiaong..... Lucena

Alternate Route B:

Cainta
OR
Taytay Antipolo
Angono Teresa
Binangonan

Morong
Baras
Tanay
Pililia
Siniloan
Mabitac
Pangil
Paete
Kalayaan
Lumban
Pagsanjan

Please give feedbacks sa mga nakadaan na sa alternate Route B... iwas traffic lang sana ako, dito kasi ang gridlock during holidays. TIA

yung route B malayo but you can do a spirited driving sa zigzag ng laguna....walang trapik dyan, medyo malayo lang..... dyan kami dumadaan kapag pupunta kami ng lucena tapos weekend pa..... makakapagside-trip ka pa sa caliraya kung hindi ka nagmamadali or makakabili ka pa ng mga native foods sa daan....

taga atimonan parents ng dad ko, may place kami sa baras....

alam ko tawag dito ay MANILA EAST ROAD. napadaan ako dito mga 2-5 times and i tell you the normal route is definately shorter and hassle-free...not to mention safer at night?

well, kung ayaw mo matrapik at magenjoy sa driving at scenic view of laguna de bay, with sadyang stops at caliraya lake and pagsanjan falls...

just getting ready for the long weekend, on a bad timing/choose of route , 5 hours na kaagad ang kakainin, lucena pa lang... destination is actually 800kms from manila.

teka bakit 800kms? Lucena is less than 200km from manila...tiaong is almost 100km and it is just an hour away (without traffic). Suggest ko take the normal Route and just leave early lang (mga 4 or 5 am from Manila) para nasa Candelaria ka na before 8am.

Or plan your schedule a day ahead of everyone else's trip. Pag umaalis ako ng Manila by 3am-4am nasa Lucena ako before sunrise. Mas maluwag ang highway and less congestion sa cementery spots along the way. Afaik, there are 2 towns na madadaanan ang cemetery before reaching the town proper itself. I would only choose your route B if Sariaya bridge is impassable. Delikado yung tight curves sa may Luisiana part pag di kabisado yung daan, especially at night.

Sa Samar yata ang byahe ni RedHorse kaya 800kms. trip. Lucena is around ~120kms. from Manila.
