I am about to change my tires
Choosing between Yokohama Geolandar 056 (made in the Philippines) or Continental CrossContact LX2 (made in Malaysia)
Contis are more expensive but the difference in price after discount is not much
Drive is 90% SLEX, 5 times a week at the legal speed of course
Other days and inner roads, purely urban and urban lubak
Which would you recommend?

Go check user reviews online about both models.

By the way, the Yoko is 110 T
More concerned on the load than the speed though

265/65 R17 for a Montero Sport 2011 GTV.
Read some user reviews also but most are not in the Philippines. Continental comes out a bit ahead.
Also, there are hardly any comparo reviews of both in Tsikot for this tire size based on my search.
My old tires are near the end of its safe and useful life.
These are GT Radial Savero AT Plus. Manufacture date is 2015 and I b ought these way back in 19 September 2015. Still have the receipt from Gomags.
Medyo manipis na, sobrang maingay at ramdam mo na masyado ang daan. Too dangerous already for regular highway driving for me at the, ehem, legal speed.

The continental lx2s are inferior to the lx20s. I would rather get the Geolandars 056s. This is based on consumerreports.
heres a list of better HT tires than Geolandar HT 056 (score64). All of them have good wet grip and good wet braking.
68 Nexen Roadian
70 General Grabber HT. ( company of Continental)
72 Firestone Destination

Blue-labeled Motolite Gold are factory-supplied OEM batteries with only 1 year warranty.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
