Whats your take with China tires? Brands like Black Arrow and Austone? Tumatagal ba or waste of money? Delikado ba. Anyone who tried? Thanks.

Actually, I want to try out for myself China Tires and see for myself compared to my Deestone. But I will get the known brand West Lake. Some Tire Shop is offering me Sailun and Arivo (UK Tech) but I will try WL first.

I was a WL user for 2 sets. 205/40r17 tires. As per my experience, madulas na if luma na ang tires. Current Sailun Atrezzo 205/45r17 ko ngayon gives me better grip. Mag 3 years na this May 2022

is the price difference between the chinese brand and the non-chinese brand, significant?
kasi, kung maliit lang naman, sa mas kilalang brand na siguro ako.

at present, i yokohama. local, 'natch.

Yes if you will buy all four tires you will save a lot of money. E.g. A Bridgetone R15 tire cost 4,200 but when you buy China it is only 2,800.

We were raised to be frugal (even though we don't need to be), but there are some things I just don't compromise on.

Kaya engine air filters, oil filters, always OEM. Tires- always tried and tested brands (though not the most expensive, basta yung ok to good quality), even for the 4 & 6 wheel trucks we use in our businesses.

Makatipid ka ng total of 2-3k (perhaps) for a set of 4 tires with these brands, eh katapat naman nun yung danger sa sarili mo, pamilya mo, other people na madamay a year or two down the road... akin not worth it. Kulang pa ngang pang full tank yang matipid mo at today's fuel prices ah.
