Im looking for R15-R17 tires with Rim protectors. SO far the ones i tried with rim protectors are some models of Bridgestone, Yokohamas, Fulda. China/Taiwan tires would have been great but the Nankangs and MAxxis that i tried had no protectors. ANy suggestions?

CMIIW though. Got our 195/55/15 for 3.2k each.

If 3.2 k is too much, perhaps you really don't want sporty tires... that's downright cheap for a low-pro with rim protectors.
Personally, I'd go for the Federal 595s... more secure handling and breakaway than the Maxxis, which, although grippy, has soft and wobbly tread blocks.

Federal nakakatuwa yun rim guard, kaso for my case sumasayad yun 'guard' sa shocks kaya napilitan ako mag 5mm spacers.
On nankangs, tumutupi ang side wall when used hard on the track. Lol

It's about 1 cm longer than the 3SM and about 4 cm longer than the DIN74. And it's also in the 10k...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
