October 21st, 2009 08:16 AM #2No way! Is it mid-engined?
EDIT:
Did a little research and found out it was front mid-engine. Now, what's with all the vents on the rear?Last edited by roberto_minosa; October 21st, 2009 at 08:19 AM.

October 21st, 2009 02:22 PM #5Ooooooh. Nice. Good thing Lexus is now making functional aesthetics. Last time I was disappointed when I read Top Gear's review of the IS-F. They said the 4 tailpipes were fake...yuck.

The Lexus LFA will be hand-assembled at the Motomachi plant in Toyota City. Only 500 examples will be built, at a maximum rate of 20 per month to ensure the finest build quality and attention to detail. Each V10 engine will be assembled by a single engineer, and will bear his signature as testament to each Lexus LFA's bespoke status.
The UK launch price for the Lexus LFA is €368,000 (approximately £336,000). Owners can choose from an extensive range of options to personalise their car, including 30 different paint finishes. Certain items of standard equipment can also be removed, such as the audio system, to reduce the car's weight.Last edited by AG4; October 21st, 2009 at 06:30 PM.

$400,000 for a lexus?!?
but it looks like a budget supercar (i.e., GTR, NSX).
It doesn't have the wow factor of a carrera gt, ferrari or a lambo.

October 30th, 2009 05:03 AM #9more like $350k. this is pretty good chunk of change for the avg juan like me. however, a person who can afford to buy exotics, the LF-A is actually a bargain! Lexus may not have a strong racing pedigree, but this thing was made with the same quality/technology as the Enzo and CGT. here is a review from Car and Driver about the LF-A...a magazine that is notoriously known for snobbing any Lexus made product.

the fact that it gave a nice review about the car makes me think this thing is a performer.
