sakto lang yang 80km to empty na yan kasi and reserve fuel is approximately 7-8 liters.
It is not adviseable to allow the fuel tank to go below 1/4 except when on short trips only. The fuel also serves as coolant for the high pressure crdi pump so less fuel in the tank = less cooling for the crdi pump. Pag short trips ok lang kasi di pa iinit yung fuel sa tank.

October 30th, 2013 03:31 PM #1575Thanks, bro.
Yes, 6 lahat kami kaya wala na cargo space sa loob except sa likod ng 3rd row seat. Halos lahat nasa taas.
I bring my bikes wherever we go. I'm from the north so Ilang beses na kaming biyahe doon with that setup. Sagada & Bicol dala ko din. Mahilig din mag surf mga anak ko so dala pati surfboard sa La Union, Baler & Zambales. Minsan dala ko lang para protection din baka ma rear end. 😀🚲🚴🚵

October 31st, 2013 11:25 AM #1576Thank you for the great insights sir. Agree with your points that rougher use I am better off with either Monty or Fortuner but my primary usage will be for city driving and quarterly trips to Cagayan my home province. And wifey is kinda sold to the sorento already since she may from time to time use it with the kids.

November 4th, 2013 06:58 AM #1578Hi all,
been a lurker in this forum for a while until I finally got my sorento early last month. Anyhow, I'm looking to upgrade the rims to the 19" factory rims that usually comes as standard with TOTL sorentos but wanted to ask if anyone knows any shops that sell these or if not are able to source them locally.
These are currently being sold in ebay for $230 / rim plus $150 shipping but not sure if this is legit although the seller is from korea. Kia Mobis sells them at $180 USD (192000 KWON) minus shipping. I put in the 2 links for both in case anyone else is interested.
I don't really mind getting imitations/copies or generics of these rims as those would obviously be cheaper but as long as they're good and strong enough to withstand proper road abuse and won't endanger my passengers then I'm all for it. As always people come first.

Quality should be ok....ask arnd where will u source the tires first. 19"s are a bit.more.expensive now than 20"s in Phil. (i predict.that will change though...)
