    Kia has finally launched its mid-size sedan Optima at the Frankfurt motor show. Previously, popular models like Honda Accord, the Mazda 6 and Toyota Camry have been people's all-time choice but now Kia has come up with something different and modern.

    Under the hood lies an upgraded 1.7-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that produces peak power of 139 hp and a maximum torque of 340 Nm.

    Kia has also released a sportwagon version of the Optima in Europe. Engine options include 2.0L NA gas, 2.0L turbo gas, and 1.7L CRDI. Tranny options are 6MT or 7DCT.

    The diesel version will be a good offering if it will be sold locally.
