    Thanks sir zix888

If there are only 2 reasons, what are the solutions for each one sir?

I already had it cleaned, is it the same as blanking?

Thank you in advance sir. Hope I dont need to buy a new one

Same thing with the SCV or Suction Control Valve.

My truck has already replaced its SCV before. After I had the SCV replaced, umilaw ulit then EGR naman. Inabot ng more than 1 yr ung waiting time ko para palitan ung EGR kasi hindi na dumating dating ung part na yan sa Isuzu Commonwealth. Imagine 1 yr na naka lit ang CEL sa dash ko pero awa ng Diyos, my truck never failed me kasi kung saan saan ko siya dinala and never siyang tumirik. Un lang, nakaka irita na naka lit sa dash and ung tunog ng makina, medyo grabe ang rattle and ung performance niya ay medyo mabigat.

While I was browsing in Tsikot, naisipan kong mag search about EGR and I saw na pwede palang linisin. Imagine kung pinalitan ko siya, more than 19k+ din yun. I inquired in Central Diesel and nasa 4k+ lang. So dinala ko and after 1 day, ayos na. Ang ganda ulit ng performance.

If I were you, dalhin mo sa Central Diesel and let them diagnose the problem.

As to blocking/blanking, yes pwedeng iblank ang EGR and may mga topics na yan dito. Pls use the search function of the website to find those topics. There are also members who offer blanking of EGR. Try to contact sir GS LOVER if you wanna know more.

well, if you already had it cleaned, but CEL still triggered, you have no choice but to buy a new one if you dont want your check engine warning lamp on. but if you are not particular with the CEL, you can just blank the egr system, and ignore the CEL.

Maraming salamat sa info Sir d_mac.. I have test drive the 2014 dmax and the fuel consumption I got is around 13kpl combination of city and highway driving. I think the fc would still improve considering the truck still less than 5000km..

Kung mas malaki ang intercooler (like the way you saw it chief, so i take it that you meant increased surface area) at naka-locate sa front grille, hindi na "pupot" yan sa ere hehe, unlike the one with smaller surface area and the top-mount like that of the Hilux and the previous "hood-scoop" D-max.

In tropical countries like ours especially those with high humidity air, mas favourable ang sasakyang may intercooler. Ang high humidity air chief mas mainit ang effect (mas mataas ang binibigay na apparent temperature) kaysa sa dry air even when the two have the same temperature level. The climate in Pinas is high temp and high humidity....

    Cheers!

As Australia's No. 1 offroad rider, this kid surely knows which pickup is the best in Oz and under what brand it belongs to.... Simply the 2009, 2010 and 2013 Australian 4WD Action Pickup of the years - the Isuzu D-max ;)

    ....See 0.47 seconds and up....

....Just sharing my views as a D-max and a Yamaha 2-stroke dirt bike enthisiast ;)

    Cheers!

WOW! Ang tipid boss Jraf_zams2 for a new pickup! Mag-i improve pa yan much better pag tagal-tagal sigurado. i observed my 3.0 Ddi-iTEQ to be consuming better by 30,000 km and up.... i sit now at 87,000 kms odo on the 2008; seldom it's being used by the wifey though and i'm always away overseas. She likes her own ride than my pickup hehe ;)

Cheers and thanks sa info chief!

So far ok naman yon suspension niya sir d_mac. Di siya kasing alog ng Hilux. May be I can compare it with strada. Pero compare to SUV the truck still a truck. Tsaka maganda yon handling niya in terms sa curves. By the way, I tested the AT dmax.

YUP sir, naka-Flex ride kasi mga D-max ngaun after 2011, at baka updated lalo ang sa all-new D-max (except the engine for all we know sa Pinas-issue hehe ;) ) ....Hindi na dapat matagtag (sana hehe).

Coil springs mated to a five (5) multi-link suspension sa rear side.

Well for now, keep-sake ko nalang muna si lumang 2008 D-max ko tutal satisfied naman ako sa power and overall.... And you're absolutely right, precise at planted ang handling ng D-max (both on cornering and straight-line stability at speeds) maging mga Kiwis at Aussies na kasama ko dito nagsasabi niyan, kahit pa yung lumang "hood-scoop" model precise na precise kaysa sa Toyota at Triton. Tawag nila sa Triton (Strada sa atin), too curvy at too slopey daw ang design harhar!

Baka pang retirement car nalang pag-ipunan ko, maybe it will be the Landcruiser Series 76 na old-style lang (4.2-litre 6-inline or 4.5 litre V8, both diesel variant) o Land Rover Defender 90 (2.2-litre turbo diesel intercooled) hehe....

    Cheers!

Sir Vince, kindly look at your owners manual of PMS listings as per kilometres travelled, and bring it to your nearest Isuzu dealer shop. That is your maintenance logbook....

    Aasikasuhin ka nila ng lubusan....

    Goodluck and cheers!
