Your inputs would be gladly appreciated.

TIA

Check, electrical first. Look also sa fuse box kung anong accessories ang kasama ng fuel gauge then check it all.

February 6th, 2010 08:49 PM #5ung floater kasi nung tinangal namin nakakabit sa parang electical box attached sa fuel tank. un bang parang takip narin nya sa my butas from atop ng tank. binuksan ko ung box kung saan naka attached ung floater then nilinis lang dahil maraming dumi sa my wiring nya. nung di ako satisfied sa replacement, binalik ko na lang.
madali lang kung nakita mo kung papano ibaba ung tank, 3 bolt on each side plus fuel lines to detach, then 6 screws to detach ung whole floater. this after draining ung fuel mo.
pero bago mo gawin to as sir tootsie said check mo muna mga electicals mo baka my nagloloose lang

Personally, I had changed the floater late last year on my 2006 Crosswind at about 26km on the odometer. The problem is that even at full tank the indicator just points halfway. Had it done sa casa.

May 29th, 2010 04:14 PM #8I also have the same problem now, I'll check if I can DIM the entire process of taking the tank down, cleaning the floater and then put it back up again.
Thanks for the suggestions here.

Ang na experience ko naman is when the time nag pa full tank ako, i shut-off the engine.. nung tapos na pag fill nila sa tank, full tank na ako, then i started the engine..after starting, my experience was dahan-dahan lang bumaba ang gauge to empty level then after reaching the E, then it went back gradually sa F level.. I experience this only once...thank God... ewan ko ba ba't nagka ganun
One can only hope.
