Mineral oil is not advisable for high-speed diesel engines as per HARI. Dapat API CI-4 ang rating.
Semi Synthetic:
- Kixx Turbo RV 10W-40
- Hyundai Genuine Motor Oil 10W-40
Fully Synthetic:
- Motul CRDi Specific 10W-40
- Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W-40
- Hyundai Genuine Motor Oil 5W-40
8 Liters.

*TS: Yung Mobil Delvac MX CI-4+ rating na yan. Pero specific kasi na synthetic pala yung genuine Hyundai oil so better stick with semi or fully synthetic oils.

May 25th, 2011 01:02 PM #5Semi lang pala ang Kixx Turbo RV 10W-40...so palit pa rin every 5k. Not bad though coz its cheaper.

Hyundai hgmo is FS but not CI-4. I think the CI-4 mineral oil stands a better chance than a glorified CF.
