BTW, the 2.4L GLS 4WD is out of the line.

Ganun variant lang inorder ko, but ended up with R-eVGT GLS.

    Yup. It's expensive.

But it's expensive for a reason. We got more toys than a Subaru Forester XT. And the FXT is more expensive by around 60K.

But yeah, the FXT is hell fun to drive. I wish I have one if I don't care about the fuel prices.

Yup. You're also right. But when we bought the Santa Fe 2WD 7 months after the Tucson, R-eVGT GLS 2WD nalang ang kinuha. Because the Santa Fe GLS 4WD variant is just.... 4WD . I mean there's nothing fancy, no power seats, no sunroof, no six airbags. Parang hindi top of the line.

I don't see anything wrong with the price of the Tucson R-eVGT GLS.

Basta sa Tucson R-eVGT GLS, you get what you pay for. Sulit talaga. ;)

    True. Expensive is subjective.

For filthy rich people, 1.7M is just too cheap. For people on a budget, 1.7M is already a fortune. Also, whether it's practical or not would still depend on the person who will be using it. Impractical as it may be, there are things that just cannot top off happiness and satisfaction. If Starex here is happy with his Panoramic Sunroof, 18" rims and some other premium-limited features then of course he wouldn't mind paying 1.7M for a vehicle AS LONG AS HE GETS THE SATISFACTION HE IS IN HUNGER FOR Now, if he's limited on a specific budget, of course he cannot do something about it. Tiis muna.

I had several chances driving the Forester XT, had several chances sitting on a Tucson too, about to drive one ( Premium unit ) this come December. The Forester XT is just a beast. The car is dope. Press on the accelerator then your money will surely bid goodbye. But that's nothing. The grin on our ( friends and I ) faces is nonexchangeable. Fantastic vehicle. I still find it pretty " bare " though, some features are actually lacking and the legroom is just ... sheesh ... " for-babies-only "

The Tucson on the other hand I have yet to say anything about it until I get to drive one. But talking from observation at stand still, it's one ***y car. Regarding the fuel prices? Laugh all day. It's diesel! ... And talk about speed? This car won't let you down. The R-eVGT technology is one thing you should not consider as something ... mediocre.

Hi, Kahit po ba may bank po, kelangan parin mag deposit to reserve a unit? And if a made a deposit, tapos sa ibang dealer ako nakakuha ng unit, mabilis lang ba mababawi yung deposit?
