Sa kotse ko, may alarm na nakakabit na isang module lang ( horn and control unit). It's a talking alarm with shock sensor. Wala na itong mga wiring pa. I'll post next time the brand. Yun nga lang dalawa remote control ko.

Installing a shock sensor to the factory alarm to be able to use one remote only? A shock sensor is a on/off switch. The doors and hood have on/off switches to activate the alarm. I have an old alarm with shock sensor. hmmm... that could be my next project.

Advice ko lang if you will buy an aftermarket alarm to have also the following features (if your SF is a CRDI): remote start and turbo timer. I had it in my old starex and is very handy.

My family and I just came back from Bicol. It was raining and the zigzag road was slippery. There are a lot of damaged portion on the Quirino highway and lots of uneven road. How the Santa Fe scored? All disc brakes with ABS worked excellently during sudden stops on the slippery road. Our baby slept soundly. Our 4-year old played with her TV game. Nobody got dizzy/sick. Half tank one way to Naga City..

Btw, I saw a superior red SF at Splash Mountain in Los Banos..

Ako naman mag-share. He he he.

Guys, kung gusto niyong mag-road trip, try niyo ung road going to Tanay via Cogeo Antipolo.
Dito dumaan si Erap when he was released from the Tanay Prison.

Nag-road trip kami with my in laws from Antipolo and don kami dumaan.
The road was well-paved. Combination of Concrete and Asphalt.
Nice scenery, cool air and very very few traffic.
On the one hour trip to Daranak Falls from Cogeo, wala pang 20 ang nakasalubong naming sasakyan and wala din kaming kasabay na sasakyan on our way. Puwede niyong ihataw ung car but BE CAREFUL because this is a ZIGZAG road with DEEP RAVINE on the side.

Before, I was complaining when I brought my SF to Tanay last month.
Siguro dahil di pa sya na-break-in.
Pero kanina, anglakas humila.

had the same experience when we went to isabela province in may sa zig zag road sa santa fe, nueva vizcaya. iba talaga ang combination ng disc brakes and ABS. confident sa sudden stops.

did you use your Sportshift? 2 weeks ago i also had fun when i brought mine to Anvaya Cove in Morong Bataan. my pal who drives a Pajero could'nt believe with the enormous torque this car produced during the zigzag/uphill stages.

On uphill, naka-D lang din ako.
I noticed the tranny dowwnshift pag medyo hirap ung engine and during the downshift, may whiplash. wohoho. Hinihila talaga kami.

I used sports mode on downhill for engine break para di ako palagi nakaapak sa preno. When it was time to accelerate again, I exit the gate and put it back to D mode.

Eto pa. Windows down during the road trip kasi nahihilo ung mga passengers na kids and u hardly hear the engine kahit na open ung windows.
Mas-dinig pa namin ung wind gust.

Sarap talaga mag-drive sa road na yon. Madadaanan nyo ung RC Cola Plant and Wrigley Plant (Double-mint and Juicy Fruit).

Walang katao-tao except pag dadaan kyo sa mga barrio kaya sarap humataw.

tama nga sinabi mo, tahimik talaga ang SF. This car is soo good that I started to get bored sooner on it and handed the key to my wife immediately after the break-in. Na miss ko ang wwwhhhhhhmmmmm sound sa makina ng luma kong civic pag nag engine brake ako. Dinig na dinig kasi sa loob. Pero itong SF minsan nakakatakot. Hindi mo alam ang bilis mo na pala dahil tamihik sa loob. Ang gusto ko lang sana sa Sports mode ng shifter ay yong + (upshift) ay yong hila-in mo at hindi itulak sa taas. Mahilig akong mag engine brake sa 3rd gear kaya downshift is patulak sa taas. Kaso lang sa mga design ng sports mode ngayon, + sa taas at - sa baba. Hindi ba pweding pag baligtarin to?
