    I am not 100% sure pero I am using the Starex as an analogy. Yung TCi na Starex timing belt pero yung CRDi Starex timing chain... So I will assume timing chain din yung CRDi Santa Fe. Eto sure ako. Yung 2.7 V6 gas engine is timing belt.

    thanks tidus1203. yung color preference ko superior red, that is, if and when I do decide and am capable to buy na the SF na.

    DOPE! I guess hindi na maiiwasan. Ganda nga kasi superior red, kaya nga ang dami eh. We actually ran a poll in the Santa Fe Club and we found out that 62% of SFCP members have superior red. The 38% pinaghatian ng ibang 5 colors...

    I agree, maganda naman talaga ang superior red eh, kaya lang marami-rami na kayo. So I guess iba naman. Lalo na maganda yung SR kapag malinis.

    Maganda din yung vanilla white para sakin. The Santa Fe looks bigger and more bolder kapag white, well at least yun ang napapansin ko... Kasi pag black or superior red mukang lumiliit...

    Oo nga sir tidus, maganda din siya kaya lang ang problema pumapangit kapag dumudumi. Hehe, magiging suki ka na ng carwash siguro pag may vanilla white santa fe ka. . Kasi ang white gumaganda pag malinis. JMHO

    Yes, that is correct. But I have the same problem with Superior Red... kasi parang black na rin sya. So exercise muna sa paglinis.

    let me answer (though i'm not Tidus), timing belt po sya. yung upcoming R-series engine would get the timing chain. so its abit of added maintenance items which can be quite pricey every 100T km.
