June 26th, 2011 01:19 AM #35-issues from my accent so far
1. engine fuel knock (solved it by using shell unleaded *my opinion only)
2. rear shocks are too soft (sumasayad sa humps pag fully loaded)
3. door handles are sticky, parang naiiwan when pulled all the way out.
4. alarm shock sensor triggers by itself (crazy alarm)
5. no built-in clock (which I think is very important)
6. engine dieseling sound in the morning. it becomes better after a few minutes.
7. water easily enters the engine bay during washing. pag bukas ng hood basa agad cover nung fuse box, air filter cover, back side of head lights, water stays at the side of the above mentioned areas and most notably sa mga wires nung head lights (i find this very alarming).
8. material used for the fuel cover parang plastic. i have to personally open the fuel cover and remove the fuel cap when refueling in fear that gas boys are careless enough to break it.

In addition, in a marketing standpoint and if I were in the same shoes as that of a dealer, kapag bumili iyong customer ng "GOLD" variant at ito mga kasama, ang sell-off ko is "original po ito at hindi po mavo-void ang warranty niyo."
They'll try to sell it in a fashion that the accessories are OEM, wherein fact the parts are actually outsourced and the only thing legit done is the fact that it's dealership-installed.
You can try to claim the original and replaced parts, but IMO wishful thinking na lang na ibibigay nila. The fact pa lang na may AUX-IN na yung HU makes it marketable outside. Just my .02.

I think most Hyundai's has this suspension characteristic. Consider the Sta. Fe & Vera Cruz. Both have soft suspensions.
As to my unit, changing into 50 series tires changed the riding comfort of the vehicle. Medyo bouncy yong ride esp. on 70 series tires coupled with a very soft suspension configuration, kaya changing low profile tires might ease the problem a bit. Pero that should not be the case.
As to others like "Broken Antenna" due to car covers, with all sense of fairness, di na siguro sa Hyundai ang problema.

Hehehehe, before I got my unit, I always expected that somewhere along the way, I would have little problems with my unit. Whether its a jap car or korean (I current owned a Honda City 3rd Gen, an i10 & accent 1.4AT).
Well if it's a BMW in which I paid 7 to 8 Digit Figure, then I will be storming my dealer. But sometimes these units certainly would have certain issues as well...
Otoh, the 2nd gen mu-x slightly looks like a mazda up front and some interior bits as well but oto...
