December 23rd, 2016 12:35 PM #6751Guys good day, do you know if pano pa lambotin yung sliding doors sa gs? Halos maubos ko na wd40 and grease. Pero same parin. Ang hirap kasi e close yung sliding door esp. sa right side, pag naka close hirap e open parang nag vacuum, pag naka fully open naman yung sagad na open talaga mahirap din e close kasi nag lolock na sya. Grand starex gold 2011 unit po.

January 2nd, 2017 11:36 AM #6753Our GS has started to blow white smoke in the mornings. EGR was replaced fairly recently, so it leads me to think there might be a leak in the EGR cooler. Torn between bringing it back to casa (na mukhang palpak) again or a place like Central Diesel. Will try to monitor oil and coolant levels in the meantime.

January 14th, 2017 08:50 AM #6755im having problem with my 2010 starex cvx. mileage 84t km.
the van starts fine. but after a kilometer or 2. it will suddenly not rev anymore but still idles. theres no limp mode or CEL. if i press the gas pedal even at full. no reaction but just a little increase in rpm, will reach roughly 1100rpm only. nothing more. if i play with the accelerator like stepping on and off quickly. nothing much happens. same scenario.
then with a little bit more time of idle. if, the rpm will increase from gradual or playing with the throttle. the exhaust will suddenly blow smoke. and it stinks. if i lift off the throttle. it still smokes.
when after a while it was able to rev normally again. i pressed on the pedal to make it really smoke. was thinking, maybe, exhaust was clogged.
happened to me twice.
sent the van to the talyer. its there for 2 days now the cannot replicate what happened to me. from cold start or warm engine.
any ideas anyone? or experience on the matter?

We're exactly in the same boat! Mine is 2011 CVX with almost 84k kms on it too. Mine loses power at startup but once it reaches optimal temperature, it's normal. No CEL or warning lights go up. Then last night, while driving, it didnt want to accelerate on stop and after a few seconds, throttle engaged.
I suggest you change fuel filter and have your EGR cleaned first. If symptoms persist, bring it to a talyer that can check the injectors. My unit is now in SL auto service in Libis. If the korean head mechanic cant fix it, I'll be bringing it next to central diesel.

^^^ barado ang DPF nyan. Idala sa expressway at ihataw ng 120 kph para mag-regenerate. Yung umusok ng todo after engine warm up that should have told you already that the DPF was clogged.
