Thank you very much to your replies.

    Some other questions:

    1) I saw some CVX models which doesn't have two-tone color in the exterior body. Is the 2-tone color paint or is it a body kit that you can buy and install? If its a body kit, around how much does it cost?

    2) In the CVX model, there are 4x rows of seats. Can I remove 1 row and make it 3 rows instead like the Gold version (9 seater) of Hari and can the 2nd row rotate backwards to face the 3rd row?

    Thanks!

But what if what I need is a vehicle na "relatively" matipid din sa diesel? Then shouldn't I consider that factor as well? Of course that is not the main factor but definitely it's one of the factors one should be considering. (well, for me that is). Siguro sa mga super rich, that factor doesn't apply anymore.

^^^your last comment was innecessary. people here are helping you so don't be like that.

you can always remove rows of seats. those just slide in a rail on the floor and can be removed by loosening the bolts.

the gs has a very good 12.5 km/l mileage on hiway. on city 6-6.5km/l is normal. it can go up to 7km/l but you need a very light right foot to get that, something that is hard to do on a starex. between a 6-6.5 km/l starex and a 7-8km/l innova i'd choose the starex anytime. the ride comfort of the starex is heaven compared to that of the innova. the space alone more than justifies the extra fuel cost.

i will repeat what was said. get what you need. ride comfort, space, convenience or fuel mileage. nothing comes for free and you can't have everything.

    1. IIRC It's body cladding that is painted. 30k option from gray market dealers.

    2. Yes and yes.

What dct is telling you is to choose based on what you need. GS is an 8/9 seater plus cargo or 11/12 seater. Innova is a 5 seater plus cargo or 7 seater. FC won't change the capacity.

If you need the space, bakit ka kukuha ng innova, edi maging masikip family mo di ba. Maluwag at confortable talaga starex lalo na balak mo tanggalin isang row

Kung ok lang naman space ng innova sayo, then get the innova dahil sa siksikan pa lang sa traffic at parking, lamang na ang innova, ang lapad ng starex.

Yan ang meaning ko. So don't base the FC on your purchase

Ok it seems nagka misunderstanding on my last post as what I posted was not meant to attack anyone and if I did then I apologize for this.

FYI, I am not getting an Innova. We currently have an Innova and I want to compare kung magkano ang increase sa monthly fuel budget if I would replace it with a Starex.

It is already a given that I definitely need more space than an Innova which is why I am looking at the Starex. Given this, I am thereafter looking at the fuel economy of the Starex to see kung pasok pa din sa monthly diesel budget ko. Now kung hindi pasok, then I will look for another van (bigger than innova) which has better fuel economy na makaka pasok sa monthly diesel budget ko.

To those who answered, thanks very much. It's very good to know na pwede pala matangal lang yung isang row sa CVX model and the 2nd row eh pwede pa ding i ikot ng 180%.

What would you guys go for? Gold or CVX?

Gold = beige interior and leather seats
CVX = grey interior and leather seats, buttons sa steering wheel (pero it doesn't have 2-tone cladding which costs 30k)

Check the flooring. 2012 model sa akin. That time parang tela ng common na mga sasakyan ang flooring ng Gold while the CVX have linoleum type na flooring which is much better for me lalo pag may ibang mga sakay mas madali pa linisin.

Ah ok. Akala ko pinagpipilian mo starex and innova

Hiace is much fuel efficient daw. Pero yun ay kung prefer mo ang hiace. Pero dito sa group, starex is not equal to hiace. Haha

Medyo ayoko sa hiace pre. Nakakatakot pag mabanga ka and mas comfy ang starex.

With the given Fuel consumption of Innova (7-8Km/L) and Starex (6Km/L), mukhang pasok naman ang FC ng starex sa budget ko so starex it is!

Iba pala flooring ing Gold vs CVX. Mahal ba yung linoleum flooring ng CVX kung ipa ganun ko yung Gold? (incase Gold nabili ko)

Also, would you guys know kung automatic folding sidemirrors naba yung mga 2010-2012 Gold or CVX Starex? Euro4 naman din sila right?

Sensya na kung madaming tanong. Laging may naiisip ako LOL
