^The GS came with all of those external appointments (i.e. kit, stepboard, grille, etc) as part of the 'Royale' package, except for the rims. Yung nilapit sa Alphard look. You're right, with the kits, the van came to close to P2M.
Personally, I'm not a fan of those rims, especially not in our color of van. But yes, they did look bigger which is why he got them.

Here's another design that he tried on.
Mas ok sana ito, personally, and similar sa 6 spoke design nung sa atin. But then, because of the color and the additional spokes, mas maliit tignan.
Biased na ako sa design nung sa atin, bratski. Hehehe! Ok din sana yung TE37 look doon sa wall sa bandang itaas ng hood ng Starex sa pic.Last edited by IMm29; May 23rd, 2014 at 10:37 AM.

Yup, I'm also not a fan of those "plate" rims hehe. I actually tried a couple of rims before settling for the advantis, problem is most of them protrudes from the body "calesa look" hehehe. And yes sabit lahat sa sliding doors. Limited talaga yung choices ng rims for our GS

Yeah. For our GS, it's a challenge finding 6h x 139 PCD wheels with offsets that are not meant for SUVs. Commonly, for 6h x 139, the offset is +12 or +20, while the wheel width is about 8" and up. That'll definitely stick out.
I tried a Concept One Zeal for size:
20" siya, but I figured, malay mo bumagay. Or at the very least we'd have a benchmark of the size na uubra.
No go. Despite being 20x8 (the Advantis are 18x8), it appeared to have an offset lower than the +35 that the GS needs coz it was sticking out.
Also tried an Advanti 7 spoke 20x8.5. Offset was also wrong. It was probably +25 or something.
Talagang pang 18x8 with about +35 offset lang.Last edited by IMm29; May 23rd, 2014 at 05:37 PM.

May 26th, 2014 05:48 PM #5457Hi guys,
Sorry for diverting from the current topic but I need help.
I have a 2008 GS VGT. Just came from Tanay yesterday. The van drove well except when I reached the Ortigas flyover on the way home. The van suddenly became limp like it would not respond to several presses on the gas pedal. Turned the aircon off and tried pressing again with no response from the engine.
Good thing I was already near the hump of the flyover and just free wheeled on the way down with engine still running. When I reached the bottom, everything went back to normal. What could be the problem with my GS? It has logged 41t kms already. Its last PMS was last March 2014 at Hyundai but the fuel filter and air filter I bought and had installed at Goodgear Pasay.
Would appreciate any advise you could give.

^have it checked sa casa, usually filters lang ang culprit. Maybe the fuel filter wasn't bled properly. Nag hard starting ba sa mornings if you don't use the van for quite a while?

May 27th, 2014 09:48 AM #5459i saw the fuel filter being bled when it was installed at goodgear. nadala ko na rin sa bicol and zambales after the filters have been changed and the PMS at hyundai. no hardstarting in the mornings. could be the air filter though but the goodgear guys said that the air filter they gave me is a good one. but you're right the filters are my suspects. makes me think now if my pagtitipid by going to goodgear is all worth it.
thanks.

For a 7-seater under 1 million, the Suzuki Ertiga is definitely one of the best options — it’s...
