is it worth it nga ba?
in terms of practicality, i think, its not worth it. too expensive for its age (well, honda nga and medyo rare). at 300k-450k, you can buy a car half -age and fresher than the SIR. and medyo mahirap maghanap ng all stock and un-raced na SIR.
but in terms of performance, yup, its worth. all stock can smoke most modern vehicle. it has a beefy engine and nice stock suspension. and aftermarket mods are widely available.
try to search here in tsikot for some pointers on buying pre-owned cars. there are many threads regarding this.

If it's to collect and as a weekend car, then you can buy one.
If you're buying one now as a daily car, then there are much better choices out there that are more modern, more fuel efficient and more comfortable for that much money.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

IMO get an altis or something else. though maganda talaga SiR, its not worth your trouble if daily driven.
its a decade old car with a resale value of gold.marami na pwede magkaproblema. pero kung 2nd car for coding and others, ok lang. it still has looks and the horses to back it up.

If you can find a stock one, then it's well worth it.
If you can't find one, then it's not.

LXi then b16 swap?
just buy SiR straight. ganto kasi mangyayari niyan if swap ka pa:
price of LXi (SiR body): mga 230k
engine swap: mga 100k b16 eg (kasama swap)
suspension: add another mga 30k-50k (bigger brakes and rear front disc brake)
mags: palit din kasi panget naman kung 13's pa rin nakakabit
all in all gagastos ka ng mga 350k - 400k all together. mas ok to get the SiR, mas maganda pa fabric, power side mirror. over all talo talaga sa conversion. hindi mo pa magagamit kagad pagbili ng LXi. papaconvert then hit or miss sa b16a engine transplant. lastly, LXi pa rin at the end of the day.
at the price of the convert, you can get the orig SiR. hanap ka na lang ng sariwa na rare taalga hanapin nowadays.

A decade old car but still a good car IMO. Like what the others posted it's better to look for an all stock and be very careful in examining the engine. This car is very notorious for drag racing so chances are you can get one with a blown gasket or two. I own and drive a Civic Vti 2000 a/t, at this stage it can still be a head turner if all stock and well maintained.

As a weekend/collector's car -- It's worth it!
As a daily grind --- not worth it
With the idea of buying LXi and engine swap --- nothing beats the original!
If it's your passion the go and follow your heart

Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
