What is more fuel efficient 1.6L VTI VTEC or 1.5L LXI? Dba mas fuel efficient pag VTEC kaya lang mas mataas ang displacement? ano kaya mas fuel efficient?

depends on your driving style. Be light in the gas pedal and either car will give you good fuel milage.

dont hit the vtec range.. drive with a light foot on either car.. and you'll basically drive around with the same consumption.

i have a 98 LXi AT. fuel consumption is around 9-10 km/L city driving.

my cousin who owns a 96 VTi MT claims around 8-9 km/L of fuel mileage during city driving.

mas matipid atayung bago na Because of the 3 stage VTEC.

Tuned for power ang SiR, not economy. But its not that bad naman. Close to a VTi pa din daw sabi ng kabarkada ko. Pero magaan ang paa nun.

nakaka 8.5 to 10 kms/liter ako pag highway driving, pero pag purely city driving( as in traffic at stop and go lang takbo) constant ako sa 5.5 to 6.5 kms per liter, minsan nga 5 kms per liter lang e.
