issues arose because owners didnt follow cvtf change intervals..and used wrong cvtfs...

October 27th, 2017 02:24 PM #696Narinig ko nga yung CVT concerns about jazz and city. I also remember na after lumabas yung variants nila na CVT, bumalik sila sa standard na automatic transmission. Ako rin naiisip ko na pag yung cvt transmission nasira malaki gagastusin, kasi mahal magpalit nyan.
Pero in fairness, I think, nag improve na rin yung technology ng CVT. And besides, almost everybody naka CVT na rin. Juke, Xtrail, CRV, ASX, Forester, etc.

October 28th, 2017 07:50 PM #698So far wala pa ako na observe na abnormal sa CVT ng brv. Ang old first gen Honda jazz with CVT naibenta ko * 80k kms odometer without CVT problem. CVTF ang gamit na fluid all the way since new.

Tantiya pa sa set-up ng accelerator pedal
Kapag biglang apak mag hunt CVT for the right place to apply power
Minsan laglag pa power dahil sa mas mataas pumuwesto
Mas mainam malumanay na apak at progressive if accelerating on D mode.
S mode is a different story mas immediate ang reponse ng accelerator pedal.
SM1-7 is yet another story
D1-7 is also an interesting mode - It's like D with an overdrive
Minsan ayaw lumabas ng number kapag cruising na in D
