Sino naka experienced na ng brake master leak dito sa Honda cars?

meron ako Honda CRV 2004. Meron leak in between brake master and brake booster.

sabi ng mga Honda casa.. wala sila rubber seals.. basta palit daw buong brake master for 12,000 pesos.. pero wala naman stock as warehouse nila yun brake master for CRV 2004 2nd gen and two months daw hintay if mag order abroad.

Gusto ko malaman how good ba ang mga replacement na brake master? Delikado pag brakes usapan so I'm thinking whether to get original Honda brake master or replacement.. well?

    i don't honda, but,
my casa is also like yours. they don't repair. they replace.
the brake master is a wear-and-tear item, po, just like brake slaves.
visit the stores in banawe or pasay rotonda. feel ko ay meron silang replacement brake master cylinder and/or overhaul kit, na mas mura kaysa casa. have the mechanics there do the muscle work of replacing or repairing yours, if you do not feel up to it.
btw, sometimes the damage is too far gone, repair is not an option. replacement lang.

and from what i understand, there's no liquid in the brake booster to leak. whatever leak that apparently comes from it, is probably from a leak in the brake master.

    good luck, po.

have it serviced outside of casa. you dont have to believe everything they say. in case you've been living in a cave the past decade, casa repairs does not guarantee anything.

but seriously, you'll be surprised how simple the master cylinder is. it is an easy job for any mechanic.

Google mo lang sa banawe may shop selling Honda Oem parts and replacement parts. I think not that expensive yung magandang replacement

    Seiken or Aisin.

Car Zone at banawe quoted me 6500 pesos for the Seiken Brake Master. Pero ask ko important.. if the original Honda brake master can last 80,000 kilometers, how long usually mag last ang Seiken Brake Master? 10,000 kilometers lang? Ayaw ko look at the brake master every 2 days and fearing there is leak.. so if I get the original Honda.. hindi ko na look palagi and be nervous.. hindi biro ang brakes... imagine you are moving at 100 k/h sa skyway and wala brakes.

I'd like to ask about bleeding or removing air from the newly installed braking system. Sa mga talier wala naman sila machine to bleed.. hindi ba magka problem ito.. like maging sponge like yun pedal??

many of the major car makers do not manufacture some of their parts. they buy from other specialized manufacturers.
i have heard of the seiken brand. "it seems popular." so no, i do not think it will last only 10,000 km. heh heh. why don't you take a look at what is installed in your car now? the manufacturer's mark may be there.

bleeding brake lines in our country is a manual chore. i have had mine done many times. ok naman, kahit for skyway purposes. heh heh.

btw, my brake master has gone over 110K km.
    they are pretty reliable.

btw, i recommend looking at any replacement part frequently for the first few days (or weeks), just in case... that is, if they are easy to look at.

Thanks for the superb idea that honda brake master is not made by honda.. Ano maker usually sa mga CRV brake masters (I can't find the mark in my car)? They sell it separately to non-honda customers too?

ano brand ng brake master mo going over 110 Km? ito brand rin bili ko.. thanks
