HR-V S is 1,262kg
Toyota's Rush is 1,870kg
There's even a 1.3L Avanza! (sorry, can't find its officially listed weight)
On paper, the HR-V S should be ok. But one can't really tell until you test drive the unit.
I still find it disappointing that Honda PH did not release the (mild) hybrid version.

1,870 kg? Bakit ang bigat naman. Daihatsu Terios is only 1,245–1,270 kg.
My 1.8 CVT is also lacking overtaking power. It weighs 1270KG.
The S is suited sa city lang talaga and occasional highways.
They could have done an all-turbo lineup just like the Civic. Kaya naman pala 1.3M na turbo na.

April 26th, 2022 10:38 AM #58We've gone backwards in terms of power to weight.
Late '90s - Early '00s 1.6li Lancers and Civics had like 120-130hp and weighed just over a ton. Understandable that the cars gained weight, but even specific output of the non-turbo engines went down.
