June 27th, 2015 07:45 AM #1I'm curious about the ride quality of this car. Is it stiff and harsh over bumps & potholes like I've read in Australian reviews?

The bigger question is: Does the vibration issue of the 2.4 earthdreams engine and the cvt exist also on this model? A lot of complaints currently going on with regards to this issue.

i have the new odyssey, ride is great compared to other vans. my wife hates the ride of our land cruiser and can't stand it while she absolutely loves the ride of the odyssey. around 5k kms and haven't experienced the vibration issue so far. same with my sisters odyssey no issues experienced yet.

We had a 2006 Odyssey (sold in 2013). My only other minivan was an old 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan. Both did a good job isolating the road from the occupants. But, the Odyssey had much better driving characteristics. The Honda was very tout, almost like driving a sedan.
We would have kept the Odyssey longer. But, the wife almost got into an accident with it during the winter of 2012-2013. As a FWD vehicle, it was simply too heavy for her to handle on snow. She wanted a lighter, AWD vehicle instead.

Don't think about other brands anymore, just go with Amaron. It lasts minimum 5 yrs+ parati, I just...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
