I also doubt this since 1.4 engine ng ciaz then mas malaki pa sya sa city in terms of size. Nakakatawang nakakainis lang ang mga fc claims nila, very deceiving
kayang lagpasan yung claim ng Honda.

FC pababa ng tagaytay via amadeo rd w/ 3 people on board on last Jan 2. ECO on w/ AC at mahabang maluwag na pababang kalsada. I repat, mahabang maluwag na pababang kalsada.

Btw, yung pangalawang reading yung FC ng paakyat ng Tagaytay. ECO off at hataw mode.

I recently purchased a 2017 Honda City 1.5 VX Navi CVT. I did not do any advanced reading on the pros and cons of this vehicle since I know that what I am buying is the best of the compact sedan category, at least in the Philippines.

I would like to ask the readers of this forum their experiences and thoughts on this particular model and variant. This is our first Honda vehicle. It will be delivered next week. We saw it first hand, in the flesh only yesterday.

    • Is the price bang for the buck?
    • Is the fuel consumption as advertised?
    • What accessories make sense to purchase/install? The dealer showed me a clear book of accessories from spoilers to seat covers. Which one is an absolute necessity? Which accessory update is nice to have?
    • We live in Cavite. Where is the best Honda service center in or near our area?

    Thank you for reading.

    For your questions:
    1. Yes
    2. Maybe - a lot of replies I read here says so
    3. What accessories did you get for free? I got the tray for the trunk and the rain thing for the windows. I used the accessory voucher my dealer gave me.
    4. No idea since I'm not near the area. [emoji4]

Question: What's new with the 2017? I got the 2016 in March. Parang iPhone lang, a few updates here and there then 2017 model na. [emoji4]

    1. Subjective question. For me its a YES besides andito ka sa City thread hehe

    2. No! In a perfect world yung posted numbers nila. Still it is not a gas guzzler.

    3. Accessory? Hmmm I have tray trunk, window visors and dashcam, planning to have a body kits installed

    4. Where is your dealer? I suggest stick with them. Study the manual and warranty booklet para hindi ka dagdagan ng mga optionals.

    Enjoy sir!

    1. that depends... on you! how do you feel about it? if you feel it's not, then it is not.
2, they probably did achieve that, under their unique conditions. it is up to you, if you can.
    3. none. i like 'em, stock. but if you have to avoid one accessory, it's the full front windshield darkest tint.
    4. google their addresses, sir. see which is more convenient for you.

    happy drives, sir.

my thoughts only. i don't own one.

I left the car parked under a leaking pipe over it and watched a movie. Pag balik ko basa yung bubong and water dribbled all over the windshield and windows and created water rings.

Any thoughts paano tanggalin ito? Wala akong idea if it was a sewer pipe that leaked to the roof of the car.

Thank you for your replies Sirs.

I got the tools, EWD, umbrella and that's it. I was pushing for the tray trunk. Now I know I did not push hard enough. Yes on the dashcam. This has become a necessity nowadays from a being a luxury accessory several years back.

According to the sales executive, the only change from the 2016 model are aesthetics. As I've mentioned, this will be our first Honda vehicle and the wifey is excited.

Bro hindi freebie yung tray trunk ko, binili ko din. I got a discount lang I find it as a necessity also kasi, you can put wet items and madali siya linisin.

Same here 1st Honda din, no regrets pa naman.
