is this you confirming na ung buong group na iyun eh mga gag0 at tang*?

Pre mga mayayaman yang mga iyan. Wag ganyan at baka bumalik si 6digitz dito at ipamukha ung sweldo niya sa atin.

Buti nga di mo sa underpass nakita sa bandang GT tower may nagmomotor sa sidewalk dati.

hindi naman lahat pero madami siguro nagreklamo for the admin of the said page to remove my queries as to why they don't want to wear helmets, etc.

    Please forgive this long post:

I ride to work everyday too pero I somewhat share the sentiments of the majority here. Minsan may mapait na katotohanan yung generalization (although I'm still against) na majority ng sub-100k motorcycle users are uneducated.

I was a car enthusiast as early as my elementary days and got my driver's license a month after I turned 17. I bought a motorcycle way back before the streets got literally flooded with it. My reason was that with my first jobs more than a decade ago, it was very prohibitive for me to bring the car to work everyday due to gas and parking expenses. Taking public transport was my first option but it was very very time consuming, inconvenient and not to mention more expensive compared to paying for gas and monthly payments for the personal loan I secured to buy the bike (in-house financing for motorcycles is just a very big joke, doubling its base cost after 3 years). It was a 110cc commuter bike that served its purpose back then (work, home and even weekend trips). It slowly developed into a passion that's why as the years went by, I upgraded into slightly bigger displacements not for the speed but for the flexibility and carrying capacity and not to mention, fuel economy during long drives. My current bike now has 3 big cases attached, is still sub-400cc but manages to slip by the toll booths without attracting too much attention (heck, even a 110cc can safely cruise the tollways given that the rider has the correct attitude/discipline but that's another story). My cars became garage queens except when going out with the family or carrying loads beyond my bike's capability.

Then came the boom of commuter motorcycles. I can't blame fellow car owners for also getting one because of the skyrocketing gas prices and super horrendous traffic nowadays. However, with more financing schemes available and low prices in the second hand market, it's not just the common salaried worker anymore who can avail but even those living below the minimum wage which we can conclude naman na may kakulangan sa edukasyon (reality check in the employment world: you won't get a good starting compensation if you're not a college graduate and even some college graduates start at the minimum wage). I'm not saying it's a bad thing but a lot of them scrip on their needs just to be able to acquire a motorcycle. Of course, since they feel deprived, dun nila binabawi sa motorcycle yung sense of deprivation nila. Kaya harurot dito, harurot doon, setup dito, setup doon, porma dito, porma doon. Porma dito, porma doon, harurot dito, harurot doon, etc. Anything to be noticed.

What I noticed though I won't generalize, is that motorcycle owners who are also car owners tend to be respectful towards cars and pedestrians on the road, probably because they can very much relate to car drives since they own and drive cars themselves. And believe it or not, a lot of motorcyclists (who never had cars) actually hate cars and think that they should be entitled to road courtesy and not the other way around and you want to know their line of reasoning? To quote actual people (most of those mentioned don't have cars and live off just above the minimum wage):

And yet they are the very same people who don't value safety.

Bulahaw. Papansin. Peste. Justification pa kuno is loud pipes save lives daw which is total BS.

True. On some point this reminds me of James Deakin's article on the Philippine Star "tyranny of the weak".

Sir, while i agree on most of your points, favor naman. Pinagbabawal po kayo jan for a reason. Wag na po tayong magmagaling. Salamat po.

Kupal yung motor kanina. Leche talaga. Monday morning na monday morning eh.
