I have this type of bike rack... trunk type. Of course I detach it from my car when I'm not transporting my 29er to a bike destination. I don't want to add unnecessary length to my ride.

I used to have the roof-mount system but I got a little paranoid of travelling with added height, I hear weird noises everytime I make a turn. Plus the crossbars and the rack itself are not really lightweight. After a while I sold it to a guy who told me he just wants for the looks alone... go figure.

Exempted yan sir as long as class 1 vehicle na may topload ng sports equipment.

For me kasi, parang pumangit pati ka- macho- han ng pick- up.

are on the roof of a vehicle running 90KPH+ on the expressway. Worst comes to worst, i'd rather put my bikes on
bike cases and travel by bus.

naalala ko nung bumyahe ako zambales with 3 bikes 2 sa likod isa sa roof on an SUV, di ako mapakali sa bike sa taas kasi di ko ma monitor not like yung 2 nasa likod kita ko sa rear view mirror. Minsan yung shadow nakikita ko not always. then pag may madaanan na kable mababa o sanga ng puno pinapasilip ko sa anak ko kung tatama.
