My aunt received this text message from a certain Atty. Joseph T. Gonzales of PCSO. Here's the text message (sorry, di na-forward sakin yung exact text message, but she recalled that it goes something like this):
Congratulations! Your roaming cel # <cel #> win P4million in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes! Contact us now on how to claim your price!!
btw, the Atty's cel # is 0920 561 3335.
My mom tried to call that number and tried to 'claim' the money on behalf of my aunt (scripted na namin yung call & my mom didn't give any info, not even her name or my aunt's name), and the 'attorney' kept on insisting 'who is this? who is this?'
I do not recall PCSO having any online draw specially for celfone users in roaming mode.

you should report it to the pcso so that those scammers will go to jail. every time there is a lotto draw they announce that there are no such cell phone or online lottery programs and that if ever youdo get a text or email it should be reported to the pcso.

March 1st, 2007 03:02 PM #6I received a text message from this number, 09052614005 stating:
CONGRATULATIONS!!! your cell # won 300 thou w/ ISUZU D-MAX as homepartner last Dec 19 2006. For details call this #. This is Jessie Lopez of Phil.com.center.
