He didn't shoot because there were witnesses. Pulling out a gun will make him look like a bully, he did seem like he was trying to defend himself. We don't know how it started, most likely EGO prevailed. "I drive a Mercedes Benz, have a gun & a badass knife". He just didn't expect that the taxi driver had a badass attitude also. He must've assumed the taxi driver would cower in fear.
Sometimes it's just best to walk away knowing that we're in the social media age and practically everyone can record anyone in full HD. Anyway, it's hard to judge since we don't know the whole story but oftentimes it's public perception that wins.

July 26th, 2014 10:49 AM #15In fairness totoong karamihan ng taxi driver na nakakasalamuha ko sa kalye ay g*gong magmaneho. Alanganin cut sa lane mo ng walang signal, counterflow, gagamitin maling lane when turning right on an intersection, snake driving.
Pero kung hindi rin lang ipuputok ng Mercedes driver yung baril sana di na niya nilabas. Napasama lang siya. Weapons are meant to be felt, not seen.

Taxi drivers, as a stereotype, are typically idiots. Sadly this is a situation wherein two idiots converged. We didnt get to see the accident on video but its obvious it's both their fault. But the ML driver is a bigger idiot for showing his gun, and if it's illegal, he can get jail time.

pinutok na nya sana kasi may kutsilyo naman yung driver nang taxi pwedeng self defense yun.
Ang problema baka walang license yung baril kaya hindi ginamit.
