To add, and very much relevant to the electrical fire, always look for reputable accessories that have safety markings like CE, etc. Yung totoong mark, hindi lang cut and paste. Better check their website and see if the specific brand and model have these certifications.

when high-ampere wiring or wiring that can generate heat are involved,
aside from just twisting them via rat-tail joints, i also solder them.

from what i understand in a radio program,
the driver attempted to maneuver so as not to hit the believed-to-be-erring two-wheeler, causing the eventual accident.
does anyone have a video?

Looks to me like the mc was angling to turn to Eastwood from the second lane. If you're familiar with that intersection the leftmost lane becomes purely a turn lane, while the second lane can go straight or turn left.
The truck lane is the third lane.

The sand truck looked to be attempting to overtake another truck (big slow closed van type), then when he pulled to the left the mc was there na.

Regardless the sand truck should not have been in that lane, or going as fast as it was considering how heavy his load was.

cement mixer trucks and tall sand and gravel trucks, have high center of gravity.
they should turn slowly, via large turning circles.
sharp turns can topple them over, even if done relatively slowly.

Nasa taas ang video. It seems nga iniwasan ang Mc pero ibig lang sabihin mabilis patakbo niya kasi hindi niya kaya pumreno on time. Which is kita naman sa video, matulin din talag takbo ng Truck.
