yup if we will have the same number of vehicles 3-5 years from now, this will be effective but in our setting, it is not the case. These freeways according to international studies are short term solution.

The real solution to congestion is to decrease the number of people commuting daily using their private cars. We need more trains. More effective public transportation similar to Singapore. The only hindrance is the cost. But if we can built mega roads which is also costly why not trains?

Unfortunately It looks like there are no plans to improve our public transportation in the next 10 years.
