June 27th, 2014 12:11 PM #41Ot na rin siguro ako.
To Sir Clavel,
Hindi po sinasamba ang mga santo, they are asked to pray for us/intercede for us, believing that we are a community in prayer, before God. We believed that saints and holy men, living extraordinary lives on earth, have special graces with God.
To Sir Jick,
other religions recognized saints and holy men such as the Aglipay, East Orthodox Church, Greek Orthodox church, the Church of England and even other protestant religious sects. Even muslims recognized saints and holy men. They honored Abraham, Elijah, the Blessed Virgen Mary as holy people. They also recognized Jesus Christ as a prophet.
Again, I am very sorry for being OT. Peace.

June 27th, 2014 01:44 PM #44That church in Mindanao avenue.. people want to bring their cars for convenience but never wanted to pay for the construction of the multi level parking lot. Word is that the church is still paying for that lame excuse for a parking lot and the priest isn't focusing on paying that millions of debt. Dam corruption

June 27th, 2014 03:24 PM #45Ang tawag po diyan is reverence and respect to the particular saint. We do not pray to him nor to the statue/image. Rather, the image of the saint reminds us of his holiness. Pahintulad po natin yan sa pictures ng atin mga loved ones (parents, children, etc) na wala na sa atin or kung nandito man ay nasa malayong lugar (abroad), di ba paminsan minsan, hinahalikan natin ang kanilang mga pictures to show that we love them or if we are reminded of their love for us. Minsan nga po, yun mga pictures nila dinidisplay natin sa ating bahay, complete sometimes with lighted candles. That is as far as my analogy is concerned. I don't know, yon kasi ang practice namin.

June 27th, 2014 03:42 PM #46We are fortunate here in Iloilo City. Churches here during sundays and days na meron mass, meron talagang mga traffic aides and barangay tanods who directs traffic. Meron din security guards ang mga churches who directs people inside the church premises where to park. Although there are times na maka-abala talaga ang iba but these are during times na marami ang nagsisimba. By the way, the traffic situation here is also getting worse as many cars and vehicles are running on limited road spaces everyday. The city even banned provincial jeepneys and buses from entering the city. They can only unload passengers and farm produce at terminals at the outskirt of the city.
The 12-month warranty on the factory battery ended a few days ago. SOH is still good at over 90%,...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
