hazard light use. as I stated in the other thread, if we compiled all of the uses of hazard lights aside from its main intended purpose we would come up with a very long list.
hazard lights should only be used when:
- you have vehicle trouble
- in a life-threatening emergency
anything else is superfluous: not to be used for instant parking, not to be used when backing up, not to be used when in low visibility weather, not to be used when counterflowing, etc.
turning on your hazard lights disables your signal lights.
moderators.. maybe we can treat this thread as an info thread to educate each other on the uses of hazard lights?
