What to do with old 92 Sentra?
1. Should I sell as is?
2. restore n sell?
3. sell it per kilo?
here are some of the problems with the car
- transmission(only works in "2" for the 1st 10mins then you can put it into D, if you put it in D agad, it acts as if it were just in neutral)
- suspension super noisy and kalampag
- rust problems on the roof and other parts of the car. WHen it rains outside..it rains inside too
- noisy exhaust
- need to refill water at least once a week
- windows don't go up or down
- aircondition only works on 2 and 4
- electrical problems (probably the alternator)
- leaks oil sometimes
- busted power steering
- needs paint job and body repair
- car veers to the right if you let go of the steering
and i can go on and on and on

You can sell it as is but the price will be very low but that will save you the cost & hassle of fixing it just to sell it. In fact, from the list of problems, the cost of repairs would probably exceed the resale value of the car if it was in good running condition.

pa kilo mo na lang bro. You could get at least P15k kung papakilo mo. We used to have a
Mitsu Colt that was not worth fixing coz of the so very many things to fix, we had it sold at a junk shop na lang.

*ghosthunter: thanks. Yeah.. hnmmmmm too many things to fix. it'll be costly. It's fixable..but i think after we fix it..the cost of fixing it would (like you said) be higher than the actual value. Then selling it..we would be "lugi". I was also thinking of keeping it for my bro who's learning how to drive. But we might just buy another car around 100-150k for him. This car isn't reliable at all.
*maz: so 15k+? Hmmmm i'll think about that. because maybe i can maybe sell some parts and get more than 15k maybe. Well..at least I know that the car didn't just go to a junk shop without any dignity..but instead helped others out who need cheap parts hehe. But if i have no choice then i'll probably do the junk shop idea.

or you can flex your muscles a little and sell it piecemeal. but it will entail work from your end.
or, you can fix it up a bit, but i doubt if...

Sayang,- kung may Salvation Army sana rito,- puwede mong i-donate....
(Sa ibang bansa kasi,- ganito ang ginagawa nila,- plus tax deductible pa.....)
