November 7th, 2010 03:34 PM #43sakto ako parekoy! just had a full tank of shell unleaded when i drove out my unit from the dealership. sana maganda ang una kong reading kasi i have been stuck in heavy traffic mula pa ng nakuha ko sya last thursday evening. i currently have 118km reading sa trip meter and the fuel gauge is showing that the tank is near to half full (the needle is not yet exactly pointing in the middle).
* sir xpac: whats your fiesta sipping? sir wrexckz's unit is sipping petron extra unleaded as per his posts. thanks!

November 8th, 2010 11:41 AM #45mga dudes..
nice infos sa mga FC nyo.. meron bang nakakaalam sa inyo na the fuels with e10 are consumed/evaporates faster than the V-power/Blaze? Well, I don't have a proof of this yet, pero when I went to a Fuel refinery as part of our company trip, the lab dude explained to us na hindi efficient ang fuel with E10. I have yet to experiment on this if I manage to get a new car next year. Or baka meron na sa inyo nakapag-gather ng information ng FC ng e10 fuel versus premium (stated above).
sa mga nababasa ko, I think matipid na ang Fiesta! the more im inclined na to get this car.

Fuel check pala guys, not just for the Fiesta, but for all gasoline engines? Ano preference nyo or what gives you better results.
Since the the dawn of my life as a driver, I've never tried the regular unleaded, most of the time for my first fill up it's always Vortex Gold or Shell Premium

I am opposite almost all my life I use the cheapest gas available... They are above requirements already and for an economy driver like me they burn harder so I get more mileage... I almost always use Shell's Super Unleaded, if that's not available I use Petron's Xtra Unleaded.... One thing is for sure, I get better mileage on cheaper gas...

to sum up most of the posts, fuel consumption for the Fiesta before 5000km is around 8-10km/l on mixed driving?

November 13th, 2010 04:11 PM #50mga repapips,report card ni whitey (powershift):
from full tank nung kinuha ko sa dealer ang reading ay 205.6km. nung pinakargahan ko na ulit, full tank ay 26.978l (shell-unleaded)
205.6km / 26.978l = 7.62km/l
this one is mixed city and highway driving. i maintained hitting 3000 rpms but trying not to go beyond it. just sharing my fc. you be the judge.
Not just the engine. It's literally a D-Max with Mazda styling, but everything mechanical is Isuzu....
