Relying on the gauge is highly inaccurate - the gauge doesn't update every single liter that you consume, and often cars don't have exactly the same fuel amount at half-tank. Both my Mazda 3 and Altis have 55L tanks. By half-tank, the Mazda has consumed about 28L, the Altis, 25L. 3L is significant when computing for FC.

300 km / 28L = 10.7 km/L
300 km / 25L = 12 km/L

By using the full tank method, you get the exact fuel used, as opposed to guessing based on what you think your gauge tells you.

Saan banda ko ginamit yung maximum capacity ng tank ko? Ang lowtech mo kasi. May app naman para diyan.

Sample ha, yung most recent trip ko. I travelled 124 km tapos nagpafull tank ulit ako. Ang total na kinarga is 13.78L.

So 124 km / 13.78L = 9.00 km/L

Gets?

Ang labo naman, bat naging FC city na

Ang na-obtain ni Larshelll, highway driving. Papunta 9.something km/liter. Pauwi 10km/liter.

So the average 10km/liter round trip, sabi nya. Fine. Makes sense

Ako sabi ko manila-manoag-manila. Average of 15 km / liter round trip. Inulit ko ulet eto 3 times. Yun una, pa-bless ng car. Yun pangalawa, nagdasal para makapasa ang kapatid ko sa test. Yun pangatlo, nagdasal ulit kami para makapasa kapatid ko sa test kasi bagsak nun una. Same average 15km/liter. All 3 trips done in intervals of 3 to 8 months

So ang key ingredient here is round trip, yun dinaanan mo papunta, daanan mo pabalik. Same road same distance. So you get the average.

Si glenn. One ride lang 340km pero 1/4. Ang tanong bakit nasa Manila sya ngaun? Nag-eroplano ba sya. Bakit walang data pabalik.

No ang winner ang ranger mo coz 18km/liter

Santa fe ko, 15km/liter

Corolla ni juts. 13km/liter

Brand new Everest ni larshell, only 10km/liter.

I agree with minicarph, suspension, tires and others contributes on your FC but i must say loaded vehicles can also result to bad FC. I agree also it may stay on 7-8km /lt FC after awhile basing it with my experience. mura na diesel oks na rin. [emoji1]

Crossover vs Ladder frames call me old school but i will choose ladder frames vs no frames suv. Is it called monocoque? m not sure.
I like it kasi matibay Compare to those independent suspension.
Yes matagtag pero not like this so may mali talaga rear end ng everest ko tagtag talaga gentlemen. Dyan masama ang loob ko. 1.999M pero matagtag. Other than that oks narin.

Kung gusto nyo talaga ng accurate FC kelangan load empty tank talaga and drive until engine stops then divided by na hahaha

Popcorn nga sarap na kwentuhan dito.

Tingin ko kaya matagtag yan kse 20 rims, there's less rubber on tire itself. Ang ewan ko lang ha pero sa tingin ko bigger rims contribute to higher FC. Kasi pag ang sedan, pinalitan mo ng sobra laki rims tapos tipong ganipis, na ang rubber. Tumatag-tag saka malakas sa gas din
