I read up on it. It was developed by JMC (Ford's JV partner in China for utility vehicles) with the help of Ford's Melbourne R&D center in Australia.Last edited by AG4; July 8th, 2020 at 08:47 PM.

For sure handling & NVH was part of it, not sure if they were also responsible for the added tech like the Ford Co-Pilot 360 driver assist features (on some variants).
I have a feeling Ford-JMC really intended to make a "Ford" version since the sheet metal styling follows the same lines as other Fords, particularly the sculpted body sides, wheel arches and the Everest-like liftgate.
When the new Territory was introduced, the S330 vanished from the Yusheng website.Last edited by AG4; July 8th, 2020 at 09:49 PM.
