Another point to consider is the OEM tires (BF Goodrich KO2, LT285/70R17) are at best R speed rated (170 kph max.), or at worst Q speed rated (160 kph max.). I'm curious too on how fast the Raptor can go, but reason (and perhaps old age) prevails over curiosity for now. I've tried my 2013 4x4 Montero at 170 kph once, and it still have some oomph left, but the operator chickened out. I'll yield to braver folks to push the Raptor to its limits speed-wise.

Just a short update - I've clocked over 1,200 km now, and with the Raptor broken in, I've started to use the Sport mode more often. Responsiveness of power and torque delivery at this TMS setting is nothing short of amazing, a night and day difference compared to the Normal mode. The AT in S mode keeps the RPMs in the range of about almost 2000 to nearly 4000, the sweet spot for both torque and power.
It's fun to accelerate hard in this TMS setting after going through a tollway booth and I see an SUV, pickup or car flooring its pedal. The Raptor leaves a lot of them behind, at least until 100 kph when I've to slow down to keep things legal.
Meanwhile, the tires are surprisingly quiet when cruising at 100 kph on pavement. NVH is so low at this speed, and coupled with the smoothness of the suspension, I usually get sleepy during cruise control.

Last Sunday morning, I was in cruise control at a steady 100 kph (GPS speed) along the slow lane of TPLEX on my way to Subic. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed in the rear view mirror a current model Hilux coming up behind me at a fast clip. He was in the fast lane and probably doing about 130 - 140 kph. When he got abreast of my Raptor, he braked and kept running at my speed for about a minute.
I glanced to my left, wondering why he didn't overtake me. I saw through his light tint that the driver and front passenger are staring at my car. They're probably doing the same thing you did - examining the new beast as it was cruising on the tollway. I smiled and waved at them, they smiled back then overtook me, their curiosity presumably satisfied.

I have seen a couple of Ranger Raptors within BGC and BF Homes Paranaque. It looks much better than the usual crop of pickups on the road. I like the one in blue color. It looks good but not really wowed by its presence.
I have seen though an F150 Raptor in Angeles and that is one mean-looking pickup truck. Tulo laway ko! If you ask me, I would be happy taking home even the standard F150 3.5L V6 Ecoboost.
