November 5th, 2018 05:13 AM #362Opps, sorry I was looking at a Lariat the other day, F150 Raptor starts at $50k, which is more than P500K to the Asian version. I have not check but it looks way bigger than the Asian Raptor.

November 5th, 2018 06:33 AM #364Well that is before tax, we pay a lot of tax too. But probably no as high as you guys pay. Then add on this insurance that i still dont understand. Now that i think about it, it is more expensive to buy a car in the Phils.

That would be nice if with a diesel-burning mill. I'd pass if the engine is gasoline-fueled. I sold my F150 4x4 Lariat (less than 25K km mileage) in the early 2000s when gas prices started to go up - with my heavy foot, I was doing 2 - 4 km/l in the city and 5 - 6 km/l in the highway.

A Ford F150 Raptor Crew Cab at a US dealership costs $55,840 plus a $1,495 destination charge (additional cost for transporting the vehicle from the plant to the dealership).
In Philippine Peso, the F150 Raptor Crew Cab's base US MSRP is P2,969,984, the dealership price with destination charges is P3,049,500.
For comparison the Ranger Raptor is priced at P1,898,000.
*If they offer the F150 Raptor here, it would most likely cost a lot more than the directly converted US prices.
PS: In the US, the MSRP of a top-of-the-line Ranger Lariat Crew Cab with optional 4WD is $38,385 (P2,040,979) or $39,480 (P2,099,586) with destination charges.
*In the US they have the Lariat trim instead of the Wildtrak, their Rangers all come with a 270hp 2.3L EcoBoost gasoline engine.Last edited by AG4; November 6th, 2018 at 12:15 PM.

Kelan po kayo sir nagpa-reserve at saan ford branch?
Di kaya selling tactic lang ang ginagawa ng ford philippines, pinalalabas na very high ang demand at super haba kuno at dami ng order ng raptor nila.
I just want to share my experience dealing with one of the ford agent. Sabi ng agent nasa more than 200-units daw ang nakapila nilang order sa QC, that was a month ago.
I paid my reservation fee (P10k) one month ago, sabi ng agent ko kung gusto ko raw mapabilis ang labas ng unit I should go for in-house payment 5-years to pay. I politely rejected the 5-years term at humingi ako ng quotation for 30% DP and 2 or 3-years term payment. When I got home and do my math I have learned na napakataas ng applied interest rate, more than 20% P.A. too big difference compared sa binigay na quotation sa akin ng bank with the same terms.
I have texted and sent an e-mail to my agent to lower the interest rate, I only received a "noted" reply and never heard of him again since then despite my follow-up email.
This how some ford agent treated their customer
One can only hope.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
