Probably never. That's US Market only, and it'd be too expensive if Ford sold it as a CBU import from there.

The USDM Escape is also sold in South Korea and UAE.

It will go out of production at the end of 2011.

God, the never dying Escape. Puro na lang facelift. Honestly they should just find something else new like the Kuga or the Edge. Maybe make it here or Thailand then export to other ASEAN countries...

Any ideas kung ano yung " changes " sa MMC escape ngayon ? Ang napapansin ko lang kasi honeycomb grille. Which is I think, may pagka-off, but okay lang.

They can bring in the planned mini-SUV na based sa Fiesta platform as a replacement sa Ford Fusion/Ecosport.

tidus1203, that's what Ford is planning.
Ford plans to kill the current Escape in the US by the end of 2011, the Asia-Pacific Escape will most likely follow soon after.

Its still not clear if the Escape and Kuga will be merged into one model or if a new Kuga-based Escape will be developed, but one thing for sure, Ford plans to have one compact SUV platform (based on the C1 platform). This is part of their "One Ford" program.
