Subaru Impreza sir.....parang affected sales ng pick up after lumabas ang nissan.

yes, i understand NO problem heard about the NEW Rangers. But that refers to the tdci engine models (0nly?)

I wanted to buy the 2008 base model which uses the OLD 12 valve, SOHC, indirect injection Turbo!!! I am eyeing on this because this is much cheaper which my budget can afford.

Please make comments on this engine to help me decide. Fuel Consumption? Riding Comfort? Etc.

I "tested drive" this base model and it feels very powerful to me. One thing NEGATIVE i noticed is the late response of the engine in acceleration. Tested it in climbing way uo toparking areas in the mall.

Do u think this is still worth it at around PhP 750,000???

ok man yang 2.5 ranger base model, kaya lang mababa sya at maliit gulong. medyo ford pa ang fuel consumption . 1/7km ang city at 1/9.5km ang highway.
dagdagan mo nalang kunti budget mo ng 221t dahil 971t ang price ng ranger trekker. la kana babaguhin sa diff. na 221t, may Lsd na, same hgt ng 4x4,responsive ang engine at matipid ang fuel cons. 10-14km / ltr depende sa driving habit mo.

kay sir drave ka mag tanong dahil my strada sya at everest . same man lang specs ng ranger at everest. pero lamang parin ang ranger sa strada glx pag hp at torque pag uusapan at may Lsd pa ranger.

ford ranger 2.5 tdci m/t = 971,000

ford ranger 2.5 tdci a/t 5 speed = 1,026,000

I was referred to u by Asyong re. Strada GLX vs. Ranger TREKKER. Selling Price is almost the same after discounts.

Which of the two do u think is the better choice???
