July 29th, 2008 01:21 PM #427While travelling in the 2007 Ranger xlt 4x2 2.5l with my brother at the wheel from Davao to Gensan somewhere in Malungon, we were suddenly without warning overtaken by a Hyundai suv . We were travelling at around 130 kph after overtaking an Adventure and an old Tamaraw fx battling at around 120 kph when that Suv zoomed by our side.
I told my brother, that was too fast we could not go near it. T'was already after 30 kms of chasing that we finally read her back that it was a Hyundai Vera Cruz which when I surfed motioncar a 3.0 l 6cylinder beast. We finally overtook her. The Hyundai did not chase anymore.
I would say that it was the driver factor because as we tailed her, there was a lot of braking evident from the brake lights going on from time to time while we seldom did some braking.

The reasons you finally caught up is that the Ranger is a bit more stable at high speeds than the Veracruz... but the Veracruz truly has a monster of an engine... kicks like a mule over 3000 rpm.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

This ranger is not seeing the tail light of to many vehicles.
Ranger install. Beat down a Nissan Novara on the highway like it was standing still.

August 6th, 2008 09:41 PM #430one thing going to customer's mind in terms of ford is low low resale value thats why only a few who has ford. because of its us made structure, hard to find equipments
only their safety features are reliable. when you go to nissan, honda, toyota etc. and appraise your ford vehicle, the appraisal will told you why the heck did you buy ford(nakakainsulto hehe), its resale value is too low its either you sell it outside or stick with our low price.. sad to say its true
this encourages customer to buy other brands.. if you can see the prices they are selling are quite low compare to other vehicle their competing.
there is also one more thing after 6 years the ford's brake can become noisy squeeking sound when you brake, whatever/whenever you repair it change both original brake pads, polish both brake disc ( at rapide, michelin, ford casa), it will be the same squeeking sound when you brake and can damage your disc.
The 12-month warranty on the factory battery ended a few days ago. SOH is still good at over 90%,...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
