opinion lang, dont go to rapide... dami na horror stories diyan.
sir wave, punta ka sa pasay and look for dondon, mura lang labor sa kanya. siya nagpalit ng timing belt ko then mura pa pyesa sa car power. palitan na lang lahat ng seals and water pump para isang bukasan na lang.

Ahhh kaya pala ang daming papalitan sabay-sabay para isang bukasan na lang nang makina... now gets ko na, maraming salamat sirbaguhan pa lang kasi po ako pagdating sa kotse po eh.
Normally mga sir how much it will damage my pocket if all of this will be replaced???

July 22nd, 2010 12:59 PM #3sir we have exactly the same type of car. AT nga lang sa akin, ewan ko sa yo. about a month ago nagpalit ako ng timing belt eto gastos ko:
timing belt orig-1,100 nisparts, banawe tel.7421531 look for arnel
water pump japan-900 nisparts
tensioner bearing japa-650 nisparts
crank/cam shaft orig-250 each nisparts, banawe
labor-1,200 sa kaibigan, 1,800 sa speedyfix, 3,00 sa honda spa
it took half the day for the labor sa kaibigan, 6hrs daw sa speedyfix, whole day sa spa

July 22nd, 2010 12:58 PM #7Never knew about the Rapide horror stories. Just noticed their service menu that they can. Haha! I had mine changed in AutoPlus (but it was a major overhaul, so i don't know if they would accept a timing belt change service alone.) I'm just pretty confident of what they can do to a car since they're well known in the local automotive industry.

I feel the same way. Not a fan.
