Maraming salamat po in advance and more power....

July 22nd, 2010 10:29 AM #2I don't know how much the timing belt exactly costs, but it depends per car. I know its starts around 5k+labor+++ depends on the car. If I'm not mistaken. I just recently had my car overhauled because the timing belt broke (valves got bent, serious internal damage).
You should have it fixed with a mechanic. I know Rapide changes timing belts and it may take a while. Not a 1-2 hour job. It takes a while before they can get into the timing belt. They gotta dig deep and remove a lot of stuff.

).
To avoid much bigger cost pag naputol yung timing belt gusto ko na po sana siya palitan preventive measure na din kumbaga.
Mga sir any feedback of how much the installation of new timing belt will cost me, kasama na din yung labor doon po???
Maraming salamat po and more power....

opinion lang, dont go to rapide... dami na horror stories diyan.
sir wave, punta ka sa pasay and look for dondon, mura lang labor sa kanya. siya nagpalit ng timing belt ko then mura pa pyesa sa car power. palitan na lang lahat ng seals and water pump para isang bukasan na lang.

July 22nd, 2010 12:58 PM #8Never knew about the Rapide horror stories. Just noticed their service menu that they can. Haha! I had mine changed in AutoPlus (but it was a major overhaul, so i don't know if they would accept a timing belt change service alone.) I'm just pretty confident of what they can do to a car since they're well known in the local automotive industry.
Thanks for the heads-up though!

Blue-labeled Motolite Gold are factory-supplied OEM batteries with only 1 year warranty.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
