Smoke from dipstick.

I'd do 5k/6 month oil change interval with regular oil vs 10k/1 year unless I run on the highway most of the time. Iba na kasi ang traffic ngayon.

Nagbabawas ba ng langis between oil changes?

Air filter just change it last week. Akala ko yun lang problem ng increased fuel consumption.

Mas lumakas lang yung hatak after putting in new engine air filter. But no noticable change sa fuel consumption.

Unless you've been losing a lot of oil between oil changes I wouldn't worry. If you are, have a compression test done.

Does the Innova D4d have a pcv valve? Always thought it was just a breather hose.

Agreed, agreed, agreed. However, I would defer the overhaul... When the smoke is unbearable and the oil consumption is like 1L a week.

I have an Innova Grab car with the same dipstick smoke issue since 2016... Now 3 yrs later, 160k km... Still serves its purpose, no worsening of smoke, eats 1L oil every 6wks...just in time for its change oil

D4D is turbocharged... The engine air filter should be changed (not cleaned) every other oil change, else save money for a turbocharger breakdown... About P60k

About 1 liter sa tinakbong 3t km to 4tkm.

Naalala ko 2 or 3 weeks bago ako nag change oil (every 5Tkm) nag add ako ng 1 liter sa engine.

No smoke from oil cap. Very little smoke from the dipstick, na pansin.
