100 or up is the ideal VI. So pasok pa din naman Delo 400 natin dyan. Don't worry about it.

guys, ask ko lang. wala ako makita sa net na resource regarding whiz motor oil. it seems the malco company in ohio US, only makes whiz additives but not oils.. i saw some pictures of supposedly whiz motor oils sold locally and it seems they are fakes or copies...(they are re-badged and then sold as whiz motor oil i guess) the packaging and the writings are all wrong... na curios ako kase nagtanung barkada ko dahil hinahanap nya whiz motor oils SL MAX 10w30..

im having my 33 year old gas engine overhauled. what is the best oil that i can use for break-in interms of cost and ability to properly seat the valves and pistons?

my mechanic is telling me to get the regulat oil mo40 which is the cheapest but it is monograde and rated SD because it is the cheapest.

im also considering to buy toyota oil which is rated SM 20W-50 or delo gold.

Break-in kasi, you don't need an expensive oil that you would replace soon. Okay na yan for the job of break-in.

Last time I was at a Caltex station, they were not selling any delo gold monograde. They do have Delo Silver for monograde.
