September 22nd, 2017 09:43 PM #1Na observe ko after changing my oil from 20w50 to 10w40 and also from bosch platinum spark plugs to OEM spark plugs, fuel consumption ko naging 5km/liter na lang. bago din naman ang air filter. car is 1997 corolla 1.6 gli with 123k mileage. Ano kaya ang problem?

Check tire pressure..
Aircon compressor bearing/ pulley bearing
Rear brakes/ Handbrake cable
Check for fuel leaks
Check- aircon aux fan/and condenser...
Check your car aircon for high pressure
And Balik mo lahat ng ginagawa or pinalitan mo dati...like oil.. spark plus etx.

maybe its the other way around. baka gumanda hatak ng makina since manipis oil na ginamit kaya naging mas aggressive driving style ni TS at tumaas fc
seriously, TS just get back to the old oil and spark plugs. using thinner viscosity oil may not be that good to a 20 year old engine seals..

If purely for City driving then get the Emax7. since you already have other cars for longer drives....
