Best Oil/Fuel Filters

Lahat naman yan best to each his own use and purpose and budget.

Okay lang naman if talaga hindi fit sa budget mo mga better brands, you're money you're choice if mediocre for low quality filters lang afford mo then go lang sasakyan mo naman yan.

Pero ang problema is nasa thread tayo ng mga taong naghahanap ng BEST oil and fuel filters. Mga tao mostly pumupunta dito sa specific thread na ito ay naghahanap ng magandang klase kasi afford namin and pera namin ang ipambibili ng magandang quality na filters. Out of all threads bakit dito ka pa nag rerecommend na gumagmit ng low quality & mediocre performing filters? Yang ang gustong gusto ko itanong sa iyo.

PAg napagusapan oil filter kadikit na yan langis. Look at the threads ng bypass filtraton, engine oil thread. Hindi maiiwasan yan.

Sa baldwin meron tatlo tindahan sa caloocan. Meron sa true qc ko and yung sa gandara. All pwede ko puntahan magcompare compare not online na risky. (ikaw nga ang dami pinopost na tindahan ng peke online. So lalo ako natakot. And bilib ako sayo alam mo kung sino nagtitinda ng peke tapos sa online pa ang dami nun ah !!!!! )

Ito kasi issue ko sayo japan abc kaya tinanong baka connected ka sa wix philppines. Eh ako dito sa tsikot pag may bago nagpopost malakas pang-amoy ko. Im a behaviorist.

Hindi ka ba magiging credible pag inamin mo connected ka?

At least vic filter did the job done reaching almost 300k kms sa hilux sr5 ko dati hangang nabenta ko, most cars in the streets using vic hangang mabenta car nila wala naman problem, eh kung balak mo paabutin 1million kms car mo then use oem or yung recommended filter ni japanabc, FYI lang po vic filters para sa mga heavy equipments tracks are priced from mid to high, ang mga low priced filters are sakura brand filters.

So that I may be relevant somehow, what makes an oil and filter more expensive than the others if both are following the standards? Isn't the cost to manufacture should be the same? Does an expensive brand offers more additives? If yes, then it is expected to be expensive.

Paraphrase "Change oil and filter every 5k or 6 months whichever comes first, using what ever brand that meets standard. That way, you clear most of the contaminant, get the cleanest engine, remove deposits and get a relatively healthy engine"

Sometimes the issue maybe with the distributor may possibility they are putting a lot of margin sa brand nila. Sometimes mga auto supplies or sellers tinatake opportunity to put high margins kasi hindi pa mainstream ang isang brand. Or possible na the certain brand is only focusing like for example 80% trucks then 20% cars so price ng truck filters nila due to volume of production is achieving economies of scale so cheaper filters nila sa truck filters since yung moulding machines and raw materials mas volume nila na pupurchase, then passenger cars nila small volume of production kaya much more expensive to produce.

Daming pwedeng reason kung bakit iba iba ang prices. Just like other things like smartphones, TVs, washing machine, aircon and etc...
