In your situation I would first suggest you acquire a shop manual of your vehicle. Read it and see if you can follow kung hindi then enroll then ask the the topics you have a hard time understanding. Engine is a matter of timing, clearances, advance, delayed, resistance and voltages.

April 6th, 2009 05:33 AM #13I am visitng the philippines (manila / iloilo) and looking for a short training (2 - 3 days) on auto repair (brakes, tune-up, a/c, diagnoctics, front end, etc) between May 29 - June 8, 2009. If you know any school that can customize their training for me or any certified auto mechanic that is willing to teach me I would appreciate it. I would like to know the training fees as well.
thanks

April 15th, 2009 09:13 AM #15I would recommend enrolling to Samson College of Science & Technology. They have branches in Edsa, Cubao and at Legarda, Quiapo. I think this summer, they offer short courses in automotive mechanics. Check it out!

April 24th, 2009 02:12 PM #16I would like to recommend MFI formerly Meralco Foundation.
Although ang pinag-aralan ko po dun is Computer Programming
and PC troubleshooting I think Ok din dun ang automechanic courses.
And yun food sa canteen nila laging masarap tapos mura pa.
May pre-requisite sila na course. Yung Basic Car Maintenance. Before mo makuha yung ibang course like Diesel mechanic, auto transmission etc.
Pag nagkaroon ako ng time mag-enroll din ako. Google nyo lang MFI.
