but that is probably because i buy my batteries from them.
CCA lang naman and voltage drop na check nun. 100% na yun CCA nya according to his reading/s.
Alternator nalang need nya i-check, if working properly. Not sure nga lang if kita dun how long his batt can hold a charge.

Where do Ihave my charging system diagnosed? Casa, or is there an electrical shop specializing in this, around the Sta Rosa - Alabang area?

From the images provided, the alternator is not producing the required 13.8V charging voltage in w/c a 150 pesos CDRKing Volt meter could have detected the problem easily.

Many reasons for not charging, could be slipping Overruning Alterntor Pulley, busted rectifier/regulator/brush, open worn cummutator/winding/stator.

Just an update, today I bought the car to casa, unfortunately even on a Monday and my 7:50am arrival, I was already placed at #18, est 2pm before they start diagnosis and I can't leave and go back, have to leave my car, my golly!

So I went to a nearby Rey's Electrical Shop and they said that I was charging normally, nothing wrong with my alternator daw. A nearby local talyer said my belts were fine, no cracks, no slippage. Next I went to a motolite battery shop, they confirmed that battery is fine and charging is normal.

The batt analyzer during this time was showing different readings, even replace battery when I turn on the headlights and ac.

I'm now off to LBC to return the unit, good thing it has a 7 day return option.

Thank you sir 12vdc and Tsikot friends!

Add: Sir vdc, now i know that a voltmeter is that cheap, am going to buy one for my step down transformers

You will return the Lancal Bat tester? Its a good tester, could check, crank, ripple V, internal resistance-a bung-for-a-buck DIY tool imo. 5yrs ago those tools are soo expensive. I'd suggest get a cheap VOM as this tool is the very basic for any electrical DIYer. CDRKing sells those cheap digital VOM that have true RMS, you don't need those expensive Fluke or Sanwa just to measure the voltage. If reading from your VOM shows less than 13V, then that confirms LAncal test that alternator is not charging. Even a 13.5V unloaded is already at borderline and should be corrected. Ask 2nd opinion from alternator shop for thorough checking.

The battery shop showed me the voltage at 14.6 volts, engine running, when I turned on the ac and headlights, it was maintained at 14.6 volts. The Lancal tester showed, 40% health with engine running and 0% health and REPLACE, when I turned the ac and headlights on. Engine turned off, it was 74% health from 100% health 2 days ago, the battery is 11 days old today.

Well, maybe i was unfortunate to get a defective item, off to LBC now.

Edit: I also had it checked by Rey's Electrical Shop before I went on to NEL's Battery shop.

Ewan ko lang sa Honda, kung meron silang mas thorough diagnostic ng electrical system to charge me 1,260 and do the job for 1 whole day!

May suggest ka ba na shop paps, na alternator lang talaga ang susukatin ang output?

Once umandar na yun engine bro, alternator na yun afaik. Pero taas siguro rating ng alternator mo bro, kasi consistent even with loads on idle.

Sir, eto binili ko smart car charger. although I haven't tested it in charging a drained battery, pero ok naman ang mga readings ng voltage at other data when I connect it.

Hmmm... 1 month since my post about that lancal tester and my battery is doing fine, now 1 month and 2 weeks old, so my charging system seems to be doing fine. I guess, I really got a defective unit. Luckily, I was not accepted on the day that I went to Honda for a complete electrical diagnosis, I would have wasted 1 day there and the service cost equivalent to the price of the Lancal Tester.
